Needles: US 1-1/2 doublepointed, set of five.

Yarn: Koigu PPM

Pattern:

My own. Cast on 52 stitches. Distribute on four needles; join. Knitting in the round, work K2 P2 ribbing for 1 inch.

Work in stockinette stitch (knit every round) for about 5-1/2", or desired length.

Decrease Rows:

On first needle, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. On 2nd needle, k1, ssk, k to end. On 3rd needle, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. On 4th needle, k1, ssk, k to end. (4 st. decreased.)

Repeat this row four times (36 st. remaining). Knit the 9 stitches from the 2nd needle, then place all of the stitches from the 3rd and 4th needles on one needle (18 stitches on each of two needles).

Finishing:

Graft bottom using Kitchener stitch.
