I saw on someone else's weblog that they were knitting Frugal Knitting Haus' free "Big Block Afghan" as their "between projects project." I had mentioned to a friend that I kind of wanted to felt something, and a felted blanket sounded cool, but I really didn't want to knit a blanket, and she suggested knitting something for the cats, so I've been sort of idly looking for a cat-sized blanket pattern. This one wouldn't, I guess, be suitable for felting, since the pattern would disappear, I assume, but even without felting, it would be a fun (and easy) project.
