This is the Felted Hot Water Bottle Cover fromm Felted Knits in its unfelted state. The pattern called for Classic Elite Lush, but I used Kureyon. I hope it shrinks enough--it looks really big. (Cat included for scale.)

I think Noro yarns--particularly Kureyon and Silk Garden--are my favorite yarns in the world. It doesn't help that my new local yarn store has a large selection. I went there on Saturday and bought some more Kureyon to make the Tea Cozy from the Winter Knitty.

I'm really going great guns on Christmas presents for next year. I hope I can keep it up. My goal is to have handmade gifts for everyone next year, and not to have to go near a store. I won't be able to manage it completely, because I do my father-in-law's shopping for my mother-in-law, but other than that, I think I can. I just have to keep the momentum going.
