the kansas city BLOGstar

From a blog started by the Kansas City Star reporter who wrote the story about bloggers quoted in the post below:

The FYI cover, still being designed late Wednesday afternoon. If you look very closely, you can see that the "WARNING" label (some blogs contain adult content) was on top of my byline. I thought this seemed like a warning that the story itself was dirty. Which I kinda liked, considering it might get more people to read.

WILLA CLINE (Willa.com): She's been blogging since 1995, which in Internet years was forever ago. The former legal secretary started her site to teach herself Web design. She has both a journal and a weblog on her main site (the blog mainly points to links), as well as four other Web sites (one is "Knitting Zen"). Knowing that strangers are reading about her day-to-day life doesn't bug her. "It would probably bother me more if I knew my family was going in and reading it every day." Her husband reads in weekly chunks.
