Eww
There are nine versions of each reproduced image, from Standard Numbered editions, for a few hundred dollars, to Studio Proofs that feature a textured canvas, more highlighting and Kinkade's machine-etched signature — compete with his DNA, courtesy of mixing the ink with the painter's hair and blood.
The weirdest thing about it is that this article (an old one from USA Today) doesn't comment on that in any way. They mix the ink for the signatures with his blood? Eww.
From a post in Tiny Pineapple. He posts an ad for a "Thomas Kinkade sitting on a tractor" sculpture. I guess he must not have seen the one I saw, a sculpture of a semi truck with a TK painting on the side. Yikes.
