What We Carry
***

Mike

Left front pocket:
Bills ($19)

Right front pocket:
Change ($1.06)

Right rear pocket:
Wallet, containing Shell MasterCard, AAdvantage Visa (business expenses), Aadvantage MasterCard (personal), California Drivers License, Wells Fargo ATM/Master Card, numerous photos of children, Library Card, Proof of Automobile Insurance from State Farm Insurance, Safeway store card, Lucky store card, Price/Costco card, credit card receipts not yet passed to wife (personal) or lost (business), prescription card, dental insurance card, medical insurance card, CUE discount card from Egghead (guess that's defunct ), prearranged funeral card, blood donor card (A positive).

Left rear pocket:
Casio watch, which runs but is missing one strap and has a cracked crystal. Paper (to do list which I never look at, also for jotting)

Behind ear:
Pen

Left hand, ring finger:
Wedding Ring

That plus my car keys and I'm out the door (cell phone usually rides in the car). Of course, I usually have the laptop (with its power block, cord, and phone cord). My sunglasses are in the car, and there's a pack of tissues in my leather jacket if I take it (if I don't, chances are the weather isn't cold enough to make my nose run). The glove box has tissues and a brush (in case the wind ruffles my hair when driving with the roof open).

Dream:
$100 in my pocket, credit card, drivers license, StarTac phone to stay in touch. What else would you need? Maybe a passport, in case the urge strikes to jet first class to London (but Hawaii is a pleasant destination). Oh, yes. Some cards with just my name and email address, on fine, thick stock in an understated typeface.

I'm amazed at how much people actually *carry* with them.
