This is the most expensive purse I've ever purchased in my life (It's a brown leather coach bag, and I've never
seen another one like it.). I've actually carried it for over a year and a half now. My friends and family pick
up my purse and can't believe it's weight. I can, I've carried it for months now. I don't use many of the items
on a daily basis, but I like knowing that they are with me if I need them.
Outside zipper pocket:
- A package of tissues
- A tupperware keychain (with nothing on it)
- A USAir Pen (purchased at the USAir store at Washington National Airport--now Reagan something or another?)
- A Goofy (as in the Disney character) ball point black pen
- A pair of gold hoop earrings about 1 1/2 inches in diameter
- A key chain that has everyone else's keys on it (keys to 3 friends homes, my parent's and my brother's)
- Photo developing coupons for Walgreens
Inside zipper pocket:
- Four Imodium AD capsules (I have no idea how long they've been there...time to remove them)
- My name badge for when I'm working in the stores (I work in the corporate office, but have to wear a badge
in the stores)
The Main Compartment (big and roomy)
- An overstuffed Nine West wallet that matches the purse...miscellaneous credit cards, video cards, grocery cards,
drivers license, work id with door pass (attached so I can get into the building at unseemly hours), insurance
cards, Hallmark Gold Crown card, business cards, library card, checkbook, a pen, $12 cash (and some change) and
tons of receipts and coupons
- Sunglasses
- Cell phone
- My other checkbook
- Advil
- Lip stick (Clinique Buff) in a lip stick case
- Hair brush
- Tweezers
- Glide Dental Floss
- Clinique Lip Gloss & Brush ("Air Kiss")
- Blistex Mint Chapstick
- Nail file
- A tube of Hand and Nail Hand lotion by Vaseline Intensive Care
- Rewetting drops for my contacts
- A spare car and house kkey
- Nail clippers
- Sudafed Sinus Medication
- A plastic toothpick
- Clinique powder compact
And the best of all....a small Vera Bradley coin purse in a nautical fabric. It's kind of my talisman so to
speak. I can't remember how I got a lot of things inside it, but it comforts me knowing I have them with me. This
pouch goes everywhere with me. It's contents:
- A buckeye from a tree in my brother's yard
- A keychain with the Bible verse, Matthew 28:20, I am with you always.
- A WWJD bracelet
- A half dollar
- A coin with John 3:15 on it.
- A penny with the year of my birth on it.
- A rock with a bear carved into it.
- Six stamped smashed pennies: The Lord's Prayer, A picture of the Magic Kingdom, Two Goofy, Ariel (The Little
Mermaid), and one of Garden of the God's in Colorado Springs.
I'll save the brief case for another day....it's full too. One never knows what one may need....
