I used to carry a mega huge bag, but have problems with shoulders and had to cut down. This sounds like a lot,
but the bag is really pretty small, and I carry it alone, or if out with baby put it in diaper bag, which is black
canvas. In that I carry amounts of some things vary depending on
where going and for how long. diapers wipes in travel case little containers of baby powder, lotion tube of baby
ointment travel bottle of handsanitizer change of baby's clothes cotton receiving blanket several toys bottle sippy
cup several juice boxes bottle of water bottle of water for me packages of raisins packages of crackers spoons
little cans of fruit 2 baby board books magazine for me changing mat mothers brag book with 24 pictures of baby
several wet washclothes in ziplock bag I keep in freezer baby ibuprofren Altoid mints extra ziplock bags plastic
bags for diaper disposal
What I'm packing for a trip with my husband this weekend to Osage Beach, MO for 3 nites: clothes toiletries slippers
favorite comfy sweats bathing suit/robe for sauna vitamins/herbal supplements nail stuff bath pillow and assorted
bath things: aromatherapy bath oil, soap, oils, brush head band, face mask, little kit of sample face products
I've been meaning to try (hubby is going for a fishing show, I intend to shop till I drop at outlet mall, and then
take long hot baths with no interruptions (I love to take long hot baths in hotels as unlimited supply of hot water
and this place has HUGE tubs) deep conditioner for hair several scented candles (always take these, as I burn constantly
at home and I like to make the room smell like home) photos of baby and wedding in floral tri fold frame/folder
I carry in travel train case journal Daily meditation book Books - Simple Abundance (just discovered this) book
on Celtic Wisdom
Several magazines haven't been able to read: Biography Magazine, Alternative Medicine, Mary Engelbriets Home Companion,
Martha Stewart Living, and Herb Companion
Other items for room - actually a condo/suite with kitchen, I have a really neat vintage picnic basket with lid
that I always use for this purpose when we travel, items marked with * are similiar to everyday, but specially
for travel Coffee - right now we're into Kona Filters, in case
kitchen doesn't have Tea and tea ball Two mugs, plates, salad plates, and cutlery* paring knife* 2 nice glass goblets*
couple of tea towels wrap up mugs and glasses, two placemats, six napkins* Sugar for hubby Fruit, bagels, cream
cheese, juice and snacks (stop at grocery nearby for these) (resort show is at is in off season and restaurant
isn't open for breakfast and lunch. The continental breakfast served is ususally doughnuts and coffee) Roll of
paper towels, small travel bottle of Dawn in case kitchen doesn't have Lysol (just in case) Favorite Pillow in
special pale sage green cotton case I use only when traveling, as I use white at home and this makes it easy to
spot in room since I would hate to lose it! I am always happier when we travel if we drive as there are no baggage
restrictions.
