What We Carry
***

With the recent addition of my son Nathan I have tried to reduce the amazing amount of things I carry. I tend to be one, who keeps stuff in my purse, just in case! :) Which means the bigger the purse the more stuff I'm allowed . BUT I also tend to be a person that can't find her keys about oh 100% of the time! At present I've got my nine west lepoard print purse (about 12 inches long or deep and about 10 inches across divided into two sections with a zippered compartment separating the two sections) pulling duty as my diaper bag (I HATE cute little pastel plastic diaper bags with bunnies on them) anyway in there I have the essentials for a short trip out with Nathan.

Three to four diapers, small travel pack of huggies wipes in one side. The other side has my red liz claiborne billfold (contents to be revealed in a moment) a change of clothes for Nathan, johnson & johnson's medicated baby powder, simethicone drops, & my keys (there they are *smile*) . In the zippered compartment is two dollars, my mini swiss army knife, a hair
scrunchie and a parker pen (which belongs to my husband) no notebook though--I suppose if push came to shove I could write on a diaper :) Now on to the contents of my wallet. Blood donor card (o+) Tricare insurance card, Visa, Georgia drivers license (exp.6-7-2000), military i.d. (hubby's former occupation, but valid until June 2000), business cards, recipe for lemon
bars, stub from dropping off pictures at Wal*Mart, reciepts I was to be reimbursed for from VBS that I've never turned in, Advanced Auto parts reciept where I purchased a battery (it is guarenteed for 6 months or something and I had to keep the receipt for this reason.) $1.61 in change, and no cash--I never carry cash (not even stashed away cash for an emergency) which to this day my dad reprimands me for not doing. Thats it...thats what I carry, for today at least :)
