Haven't replied here in a long time. But just had to send the best to your Mom, I sure hope she is doing well. I noticed your journal hasn't been updated since July. I hope all is going okay over your way. Your Mom's flowers are beautiful. Again my best to your mama and hope she is home and enjoying the comforts being out of the hospital. I've noticed since hitting 65 my body really gives me aches and pains on certain days and it seems the aches keep getting worse. But I keep telling myself it could be so much worse.
Blessings to you and your Mom from an old lady in Michigan....smile...who's read your journal for years and years. I just don't reply to often :)

Thank you Mary! I'll try to write something here soon. My mom had a stroke about three weeks ago, but should be discharged late next week.

Oh My, that has been one of my biggest fears since I learned that strokes run in my side of the family. I just got to know my family history, (I was a foster kid up till I married) so being 65 I have my fears of that awful stroke crippling me. Bless your mama and I pray she makes a full recovery. I bet those flowers sure cheered her up, they are beautiful.
