Last day

I´m at the internet cafe/gift shop in a little mall across the street from the hotel. The two other couples are going into town again this afternoon to do some more shopping, but I think I´d better stay out of the sun. I got a pretty bad sunburn on Wednesday, and I thought I was being careful. Not sure what happened. I´ve been staying in the shade yesterday and today to try to save my skin. Bob´s sunburned, too, about as badly as I am, but his will probably fade quicker.

It´s been a WONDERFUL trip. We had a great meal last night--it was ¨Mexican¨ night at the buffet. I kind of wish it had been Mexican night every night--it would have made more sense than the Oriental we had one night . . .

I could easily stay another week, apart from missing the kitties. Bob and I plan to learn Spanish before we come back next year. We feel strange not being able to speak any more than a few words. We´ll see if we do it or not, but that´s the plan.

Okay, off to do a little more shopping here, then back to the hotel, where Bob is waiting for me.

Obviously my view hasn´t changed much in the last couple of days ... blogging from the cyber cafe across the street from the hotel. Checked and deleted over 800 emails ... Beautiful weather, good company, adequate food. Bob and the other guys went deep-sea fishing this morning, and the other girls and I are taking it easy. Shopping tomorrow. Crappy keyboard on this cyber cafe computer, but adequate, and welcome. :)
