Willa, I love your sock. I have been knitting socks too lately, and it's what I do at lunch time too. If you go to my blog, you will see the one I've been working on.
They're beautiful! I have to have patterned, or at least variegated yarn, though -- I get too bored working on something that's all one color. I also have a Regia striped sock on the needles, but I was getting bored with it, so worked on this one for awhile.
BTW, I *love* your felted hat!
I'm the same way. I love color and patterned or variegated is what I love to knit. I get bored with one color too.
I really enjoyed making and felting the hat. I have some more yarn to make another hat, but I haven't done it yet. Maybe next year.
