All Saints Day

Wish I had wings

When I got to work yesterday morning, no one had dressed up but me. When I walked in, Gard said, "You dressed up!" And I said, "Well, yeah, you said we were supposed to, and we were going to Trick or Treat the offices!" He said, "But no one ever listens to me!" And I said, "Well, I do!"

So I carried around my bag of candy and gave each of them a couple of candy bars and said, "Trick or Treat," and told them they were all like those teenage boys that come around on Halloween night without a costume, carrying a pillowcase.

I took the camera to work, but since no one else did anything, I didn't take any pictures. I had Bob take one of me when I got home to send to Misty. She wore ears to work, too--Tigger ears--and wings, too! I wish I had wings . . .

We did go out for a Halloween lunch--four of us--and had Mexican food, and I wore my ears. And then Bob and I went out and picked up Chinese food for dinner, so it was quite the day for eclectic food.

I think we had three children come to the door last night. Three single children--a little girl that I guess must have been a Britney Spear or J-Lo, because she had a microphone headset on. And a little Oriental boy dressed as something, because I could see he had felt boots on over his shoes, but his coat covered up everything else. Hm. I think that was it. Two, then. Oh well. Leaves more candy for us!
