Willa's Journal
Tuesday, May 7, 2002: Day Two

I brought in a bulb for the lamp. A little more light makes a big difference; I was really having a hard time concentrating late yesterday afternoon because it was so dark in here. The lamp is very nice--casts a nice light upward.

I also brought in a rug, an old one that we weren't using at home anymore. Dave gave me some rubbery stuff to put under it so it doesn't slide. I put it just inside the door, underneath the big window, so if Diehard or Simon want to come visit, they have a place to lay where they can still see out. Really, probably the only time they would come and stay is if Dave's gone, so the window will allow them to watch for him.

Since we don't have a refrigerator yet, I brought in a little six pack cooler with a couple of Diet Cokes and a bottle of water . . . I walked down to the deli yesterday afternoon for a caffeine fix, but I'd rather not have to do that, or depend on it. I brought a can of soup for lunch, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the can opener . . . Moving is so much fun.
