It's been a fairly busy few days here, it seems. Saturday I:

• Paid bills
• Took Bob's suit to the cleaners
• Went to the post office
• Took Dinah to the vet
• Went to T. J. Maxx and did some Christmas shopping (Yay me!)
• Went to the grocery store
• Took film in to Target for processing
• Picked up a book that was held for me at the library

I tried to do everything on Saturday because on Sunday:

• Barb was in town, and we:
  • Went to lunch
  • Went to Kinko's to order envelopes for Bob's company
  • Watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
  • while I
    • Knitted

On Monday I worked, where I:

• Went to a birthday lunch for one of the guys

Then I:

• Picked up Bob's suit at the cleaners
• Went to dinner with Misty, who
  • Gave me a wonderful present--a signed copy of Charles de Lint and Charles Vess's Seven Wild Sisters.

Yesterday:

• A guy came to do our annual termite inspection (we passed)
• Bob had a work comp insurance audit for his company (he passed)

Then I worked, then I went home, and

• Bob cooked dinner--rice and salad and shrimp on the barbie
• Then I fell asleep on the couch

Today is

• Bob's birthday! and
  • I'm taking him to dinner tonight, and I bought him:

    Shhh. It's a secret. Highlight the empty box if you really want to see. (Not Bob!)

    A computer game: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
    A ViewMaster and a set of reels of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater
    A DVD of Vincent Price's The Abominable Dr. Phibes

  • And if I have time, I'll
    • Stop at the store and buy him a birthday cake

Tomorrow

• I have nothing on my list except
  • There's a neighborhood meeting to discuss maintenance, but
    • Since it's at 5:30, I won't be there!

And there's nothing on my list (yet) for Friday, but on Saturday I'm

• Getting my hair cut
• Getting my watch battery replaced
• Paying bills
• Picking up a library book . . .
