My dreams are an integral part of each 24 hour cycle. I don't view them in a voyeuristic sense, I see them as direct experience. They are lived, not watched like TV. ~~ Nick Bantock

Monday, July 5, 2004:

Standing in line at a small deli/convenience store to buy a pastry. I pick up several packaged little cakes and check the carb count on them. I pick up one that I think says something like 350 carbs, then realize I just couldn't see it very well, and it's actually 35. I decide on one, and I'm getting a little impatient to be waited on.

Something touches my leg, and it startles me. I look, and it's a little dog sniffing my ankle.
