Willa's Journal
Sunday, July 21, 2002: Adventure

I hadn't randomly chosen an angel card for awhile; I've had them in my little holder all along, but I generally choose one that I think I need to work on. Last night I turned them all over and picked one, and I got "Adventure." Wonder what that portends?

I had some plans today. Nothing important, but a few things I wanted to do--return some library books, mail some stuff, spend a Harry & David gift certificate I won (well, I didn't really win it, but got it with American Express points), pick up a few things at Target that I forgot yesterday.

But Bob got home earlier than I had expected him to--I was washing the kitchen floor when he got home at 10:00; at least I wasn't still asleep--and he was exhausted and hungry, so we ordered pizza for lunch, then we laid down and took a nap, and I woke up at 4:30, way too late to do anything at all.

So I read for awhile, and had leftover pizza for dinner, and in the early evening Bob went out to water the landscaping at one of his houses and I went out and pruned the trees. My arms are hurting now, but at least I accomplished something.

I finally went in and figured out why the search function on the journal index page wasn't working. Well, it was working, but it wasn't indexing anything from the last few months. I knew what the problem was, but I just had to go in and fix it--I'm using a free search application, and it has a limit as to the number of pages it will search. I don't think they tell you what the limit is, and I wouldn't know how many I have, anyway, I just have to go in periodically and tell it to disregard the older subdirectories.

So if I remember correctly, it's now searching everything back through 1998, and anything earlier than that isn't searched. I figure the more recent ones are the most important, anyway.

Also, I was looking at my site statistics today, and saw that I'm using an astonishing 82 MB! My account allows for 200, so I don't have to worry about it anymore, or at least for awhile. I remember when I was struggling with a 10 MB account, constantly worrying about uploading an image for fear I'd go over. 100 MB was a HUGE deal, and now I have twice that. It probably won't be too long before we have GIGabyte websites and think nothing of it.
