As I said before, I think (or maybe it was just in a notification message), I'm uncomfortable
going into too much detail about other people's problems. I don't have a bit of trouble if
it's something that involves only me, but I do think other people deserve to have their
privacy protected, which is why I haven't written more about my dad's hospitalization.
And also why I haven't written here at all--my dad is about all that's on my mind lately,
and if I can't write about him, there's not much else to say.
He's hanging in there. He's still in the hospital, doing okay although there have been
some complications. He's doing better today.
I know many of you are keeping us in your prayers, and I appreciate that immensely. Bob
called a little while ago and said that he had talked to his mother, who said she was
praying for our family, and my dad in particular, and I had just before that lit a candle
on my desk and said a prayer for him. And almost immediately, my mother called and said
that dad had suddenly gotten better, so while I guess it could be a coincidence, I prefer
to believe that all of us working together can make a difference.
