I haven't really been doing anything exciting, but Sim Willa has been baking:
And gardening:
And beekeeping:
The latter was especially interesting, because later, a curious bear showed up:
It's always exciting when something unexpected happens--like the bear--but I have to admit
I don't like it. I like having fairly complete control over my little Sims' lives. Sometimes
I wish they'd go to the bathroom by themselves, without prompting, or go to bed before
they collapse on the floor, but I always worry when something like this happens. I still remember
Zombie Qui Gon . . .
Oh, and she planted an herb garden, and included catnip, and a cat came!
I've been enjoying reading about Tish's
Sims. She and I trade Sims stories and tips; she bought me Unleashed when it came out
because she thought I should have pets in my game, and I sent her the first couple of Sims
games when she had a Sims catastrophe and had to reinstall.
I know it's silly, but it really is such a satisfying game to play. It can eat a lot of hours,
so I don't usually play during the week, but I've been playing quite a bit on the weekends. Usually
during the week I'll spend a little time in the evenings going to sites and downloading stuff--it's
sort of like shopping, but (mostly) free.
I sent Sim Willa down to the shops downtown to buy more grapevines, but she didn't change her
clothes first, and she felt so uncomfortable that she immediately called a cab to go home,
and didn't do any shopping.
She did stop and make a wish at the fountain first, though. I think it was, "I wish I
would remember to get dressed next time."
