Sagittarius - Horoscope for Thursday, November 4

You are entering a highly active phase that will last for two months, while Mercury is in your sign. The shift may be quite noticeable over the next few days as your mind is charged up and ready to read, write, talk and listen. All forms of communication seem to be closer to your soul. It is the right time to engage those around you with your ideas. Remind yourself on a regular basis, however, to listen to what others are saying to you. Communication is a two way street.

Sagittarius Horoscope for week of November 4, 2004

"This is what I believe," wrote D.H. Lawrence. "That my soul is a dark forest. That my known self will never be more than a little clearing in the forest. That gods come forth from the forest into the clearing of my known self, and then go back. That I must have the courage to let them come and go. That I will try always to recognize and submit to them." I'm hoping this passage inspires you in two ways, Sagittarius. First, you're in especially close touch with the deepest sources of your life, so it's an excellent time to write your own creed, beginning with the phrase 'This is what I believe.' Secondly, more gods than usual are coming forth into the clearing of your known self, and they're uncommonly willing to give you juicy clues. Pay close attention to their whispers and screams.

Almost exactly on target.

The work (working title: "Wings") isn't for public consumption yet. I know NaNoWriMo is all about quantity, not quality, but I want to clean it up a little and make sure that I'm actually going to stick with it before I share it. But I might. Off to watch the election coverage.
