I meant to link to this one a couple of days ago. It's my Jedi slash Christmas story: Jedi Moon: Winter Wonderland. Again, no explicit sexual content, just a little innuendo. Merry Christmas!

Another wonderful advent calendar. I'm going to have to make one for next year. The trouble is, I'd have to start it about now to have it finished, I think.

A couple of years ago I wrote quite a bit of what is known as slash fan fiction--stories based on the characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The term "slash" denotes a sexual pairing, i.e., "Obi/Qui," and most of the stories were pretty overtly sexual. I'm proud of them, though, and every few months I have an urge to link to them, but something (probably good sense and decorum) stops me every time. But this one seems so appropriate, and it has no sexual content at all. So: Jedi Moon: Summer Vacation. Enjoy!

After a cold and rainy day on Friday, Saturday turned out to be lovely, and I spent most of it by the pool. More like the Sarasota weather we've come to expect. Even with bad weather, we were glad to be there. Glad to be home, too, of course, as always, if only because we missed the cats.

I'm in Florida, and it's 48 degrees. So sad. I'm going to have to put on a coat to go sit by the pool . . .

We're in Sarasota -- arrived this afternoon from Orlando after putting Bob's folks on a plane back home. It's interesting being back here after writing about it--we ate at Phillippi Creek tonight, and I was, of course, trying to figure out if there actually was a back door . . . Will probably drive around and take notes tomorrow; I'm getting excited again about maybe turning it all into some kind of series. We'll see.
