I bought Rachel Pollack's Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom today. I've been looking at a lot of tarot websites over the past couple of weeks, and everyone seems to mention Pollack's book, so I thought I'd take a look. Once I'd read a few pages, I understood why. It wasn't until I got home with it and decided to do a little research about Pollack that I realized who she was--I've read a couple of her science fiction books, and didn't know that she was an expert on the Tarot. She says at her website: For years I’ve noticed that people who like one aspect of my work do not know of the others ("I didn’t know you wrote fiction," is something I hear often in Tarot classes).
