It's November 1, and the first installment of my NaNoWriMo novel, tentatively titled "Fallen Angel," has been posted, with an introduction here. It's a huge leap of faith for me to post this writing here, unedited. It feels a lot different from posting a journal entry--this is fiction! It's fairly easy for me to recount my day in the journal, quite a different thing to make things up . . . Anyway, I'm just reiterating that this is my first attempt at novel-length writing, it's going to be pretty raw and perhaps amateurish, and what I don't need right now is criticism. Nor do I want to discuss the philosophy of what I'm writing about, which will become more apparent as we go along. Of course, if you want to write and tell me how wonderful it is, that would be great! :) My goal is to write 50,000 words (or more) by the end of November. Wish me luck!
