I totally forgot about the daruma I started at Daruma.com last year on my birthday. You get a daruma (a virtual doll representing Bodidharma) with one eye painted in, and you record your goal. My goal was "to finish the novel I started this year." The goal date was one year from that day, or today. It won't happen today, but it will happen later this week, and I'll be able to color in the daruma's other eye, signifying completion.
